Turnover headlined at House of Blues in Houston, Tx on May 9th, 2025 with support from Balance and Composure & Horse Jumper of Love on their Peripheral Vision 10th Anniversary Tour!
Turnover is an American rock band originating from Virginia Beach, Virginia and was formed in 2009. Their current lineup consists of lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist/pianist Austin Emanuel Getz, lead guitarist/backing vocalist Nick Rayfield, bassist Daniel Joseph Dempsey, and drummer Casey Charles Getz.
Turnover originally released their critically acclaimed studio album Peripheral Vision on May 4, 2015, and were met with an outpouring of love and acclaim from fans and industry alike. They’re playing the album live in it’s entirety for the first time ever.
Turnover began their set by performing their sophomore album “Peripheral Vision” from front to back, starting with their leadoff hit “Cutting My Fingers Off”, then “New Scream” and so long and so forth.
I can’t express enough how flawless this performance was. It sounded just like the studio album. This was truly a spiritual experience. One I have been waiting for since even before the tour was announced. The adoring fans sang along to every word of every song on the album including hits such as “Dizzy On the Comedown“, “Take My Head“, and “I Would Hate You If I Could“. Personally, this album has always held a special place in my heart and I know I’m not the only one who feels this way.
After performing the album all the way through, the show was far from over. They continued by debuting some new unheard material and playing more of their hits. This memorable performance was concluded with “Most of the Time” off their first release “Magnolia“.
This evening was absolutely transcendent. Peripheral Vision is a special one of a kind album that reminds me why I love music so much. It takes me through a rollercoaster of emotions every time I listen to it. They’re always amazing every time I see them live and I can’t wait for them to come back!
