Wu-Tang Clan headlined a show at Toyota Center in Houston, Tx on June 14th, 2025 with support from Run the Jewels & Coast Contra on “The Final Chamber” Farewell Tour!
RZA said in a statement:
“Wu-Tang Clan has shown the world many chambers throughout our career; this tour is called The Final Chamber. This is a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers to run around the globe together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music, and culture.”
He continued:
“Most importantly to touch our fans and those who have supported us throughout the years. On this tour we’re playing songs we’ve never played before to our audience and me and our production team have designed a Wu-Tang show unlike anything you’ve ever seen. And to top it off, we’ve got the amazing Run the Jewels on our side.”
Wu-Tang Clan is an American hip-hop group originating from Staten Island, New York City and was formed in 1992. All nine living members of the Wu-Tang Clan are participating in the final tour while Young Dirty Bastard takes his late father’s place (Ol’ Dirty Bastard passed away in 2004). The surviving members are RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspector Deck, U-God, and Masta Killa.
The Final Chamber Tour contained a unique setlist of tracks that the Wu never performed in the past while also mixing in the classic hits from the group’s catalog. This performance consisted of four acts.
Coming out the gate hot, they immediately dove into some of their biggest fan favorites including Bring Da Ruckus, Chessboxin’, WTC Ain’t Nuthin To Fuck Wit, Method Man, Shame On A Nigga, & Protect Ya Neck. This was a very unique set.
Each and every member of the group had their own walk out moment. The entrance that stood out the most was Method Man. Before he walked out they really set the tone tiger style with “Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthin To Fuck Wit“. He started flowing through his self titled anthem “Method Man” and confidently danced across the stage. Another notable moment was RZA walking to the front of the stage and showering all the Wu-Tang fans in champagne, including myself. Also, Young Dirty Bastard dominated his spots. His father would have been very proud.
The next two acts contained some deeper cuts that were never performed live before. They really decided to dig deep and fulfill their promise to have a unique setlist.
The penultimate song of the final act was none other than “C.R.E.A.M.”. This being one of many anthems for this hip-hop supergroup. Everyone in the entire arena was chanting “cash rules everything around me“. Dolla dolla bill y’all.
In the same fashion they started, the Shaolin natives concluded this farewell performance in triumphant fashion (literally). There’s no better way to end a Wu-Tang show than with “Triumph,” this performance featured every member with their own individual display of masterclass.
RZA showed his appreciation and gratitude:
“We super appreciate y’all. It’s not just a tour for us, it’s a tour for us to come out and say thank you for all the years of support. I see so many Wu-Tang t-shirts in here, so many diverse faces. We so appreciate you. On behalf of Masta Killa, Ghostface Killah, Allah Mathematics, the GZA, Blue Raspberry, Cappadonna, Inspectah Deck, Stone Mecca, M-E-T-H-O-D Man, U-God, YDB, Raekwon the Chef, Run the Jewels, and my name is the RZA. We thank y’all so much!”
