Avenged Sevenfold headlined a show at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Tx on October 12th, 2023 with support from Falling In Reverse and Kim Dracula on their Life Is But A Dream… North American Tour Pt. 2!

Avenged Sevenfold is an American heavy metal band originating from Huntington Beach, California and was formed in 1999. Their current lineup consists of lead vocalist M. Shadows, lead guitarist/backing vocalist Synyster Gates, rhythm guitarist/backing vocalist Zacky Vengeance, bassist/backing vocalist Johnny Christ, and drummer Brooks Wackerman.

They played classic hits such as “Afterlife”, “Nightmare“, “Bat Country“, “Unholy Confessions“, and “A Little Piece of Heaven”. They also debuted several new tracks off their newest album “Life Is But a Dream…“. The band concluded their set with their last three songs spelling “GOD“, then made their outro the title track from that album as well!

M. Shadows joking:

“There’s a reason we feel so at home here. Because everyone from California moves to Texas! You guys like us filling up your cities? You guys like us bringing our politics? It’s too funny.”

M Shadows emotionally speaking:

“I’m sure many of you, if you think right now, if you were to close your eyes. There’s somebody in your life that comes to mind. If you think about that person, all you want is good things for them and if they were to leave us it would be devastating. There’s so many memories. There’s so many things that can continue to live in your mind to make this life worth living. The thing about being human is that we’re very resilient. We know that we never signed up for this thing called life, but we have to keep moving on even with things like that happening to us. So right now we’re going to do something different tonight. We’re going to not only think about the people we lost that make this life worth living, but we’re going to live in the present. I want you all to think of somebody that if you lost them you would be devastated but they’re here. They’re here on this planet Earth and they’re going to make your life. When you go home you’re going to fucking hug them. You’re going to make sure you’re kind to them, because life is fucking fast. We don’t know when it’s going to end, everybody. So right now we’re going to keep those people in mind. We’re also going to think about the ones that we’ve lost. For us it’s the Rev. Let’s think about them on this one. This one is called ‘So Far Away’. “

M. Shadows stated:

“We’re all human beings. We all have a right to exist. You’re not alone Houston.”

M. Shadows expressing gratitude:

“The gratitude from this band is fucking immense. Thank you guys so much!”

Falling In Reverse is an American alternative rock band originating from Las Vegas, Nevada and was formed in 2008. Their current lineup consists of lead vocalist Ronnie Radke, lead guitarist/backing vocalist Max Georgiev, rhythm guitarist/backing vocalist Christian Thompson, bassist/backing vocalist Tyler Burgess, and touring drummer Luke Holland.

Ronnie Radke expressing gratitude:

“I want to say thank you to Avenged Sevenfold every day on this tour! They’re so awesome. For them to keep me on the tour and they came out publicly and said they’re not going to kick me off even though people were demanding it. It takes balls to do that, because in 2023 it seems like everybody is a bunch of fucking pussies dude. I stick up for the little guy all the time and people don’t see that shit. For somebody that I’ve looked up to for so many years to stick up for me is like this full circle thing. Thank you so much! Please say what you want to say and what you’re thinking. It’s okay to say what you’re thinking. Unless it’s racist.”
